Islam

There are some interpretations of Islam which we don't agree with. For example, we don't agree with people who interpret the teachings of the Qur'an to mean it's not acceptable for a Muslim woman to marry a non-Muslim man, nor do we think it's acceptable for a non-Muslim person to be referred to as an infidel. No religion should be used as a tool for divisiveness or to spread hate. Also, we believe there are some aspects of Sharia law that are too severe, such as cutting a thief's hand off. Instead of literally cutting someone's hand off if they have stolen something, there are more appropriate punishments that would likely prevent them from stealing in the future, such as imprisonment.

Scientology

We believe that Scientology is a cult and not a religion. Their logo is a cross with an X over it, and we think that this is an indication of what they're really all about. Members who reach the Operating Thetan Level 8 are apparently told the truth about Scientology; Apparently they see themselves as being the Antichrist.
