Illegal Migration
At the time of writing (Jan 2025), there are currently tens of thousands of illegal immigrants coming into the UK on small boats each year, and we don't believe it's right that they should be allowed to remain. It feels like an invasion, and it's mostly fit and healthy young men from safe countries making the journey.
The previous government had a plan to send the majority of people coming over illegally to a third country to be processed, which would lower the burden of accommodation and other costs, and prevent the country from becoming overpopulated. We believe this was a good scheme, and should have been fully implemented by the current government instead of being scrapped.
A country isn't a country without borders. Also, a problem isn't solved by creating another problem, and allowing an invasion to take place isn't fair on the citizens of the country being invaded. We believe that any third country to which illegal immigrants are sent to should be safe and have the capacity for them to build a decent life, should they be refused entry into their original destination country.
Update 30/06/2026: We believe birthright citizenship should be restricted, otherwise people would attempt to game the system and take advantage, which isn't fair on the citizens of the country being taken advantage of.
